New Wedding Website Template!

It's here!! Our brand new Avant-Garde wedding website template.

This template starts with an elegant wedding website intro, rotating your favorite and best photos using a fade in-out Flash technique. The wedding website menu is conveniently and tastefully offset to the right of the wedding website, facilitating instant browsing of your site. Each wedpage has scrollable panels revealing information to your wedding website visitors or if they'd prefer, hiding this information to show more of the photo background simply by clicking expand and contract arrows.

Some wedpages cleverly utilize space on your wedding website and expand or contract information as your user's cursor moves over the information - it's all very interactive and fun to use and has been designed with elegance in mind.

Almost instantaneously the favorite template on our website, it has been a hot seller - have a look for yourself!!

WedMeDo.com offers to its users extreme versatility in the customization of their wedding websites. However, we do recognize that some may want a completely different look. We are therefore committed to bringing you more and more wedding website templates as our business grows and we're convinced that if we don't have something for you now, we will have something that will "WOW!" you in the next 6 months as we continue developing.

Wishing you all the best - your WedMeDo.com team

The Perfect Wedding Website

The all-important photo

I have seen many wedding websites – some are stunning and some are ghastly, but alas, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so who am I to judge! Wedding websites by their very nature are personal creations, perhaps at times using the photograph that is sentimental rather than perfectly taken. Understandable, but not always pleasing to the eye that cannot fathom the sentiment. So what makes the perfect wedding website?

Probably the most striking difference I’ve seen is in the quality of the photos used on wedding websites. At the one extreme we have the big budget weddings, where a big chunk of the big budget is splashed out in taking pre-wedding photographs specifically for use on the wedding website. These wedding websites have an instant wow-factor as the glossy images jump out of the screen and remain imprinted in the mind alongside thoughts of how stunning the couple is! The rich colours and perfect focus, contrast and exposure seem to blend into any background on any wedding website page.

In stark contrast, we have the last-minuters. These couples, bless them, jump into and publish their wedding website at the very last minute. The cobbling together of the wedding website is a hurried and stressful affair and the result is obvious and unavoidable. The groom in a bright yellow T-shirt with the car park back-drop sticks in my mind. Blend this into a trendy, Flash wedding website webpage and the result isn’t pretty. Some customized wedding website providers, like weddingorg.com may kindly cut the groom out of the car-park and place him on an idyllic tropical beach – perhaps in a T-shirt that is no longer yellow. However, most self-design wedding websites insist the designer take full responsibility for his or her creation.

Photo “size” can also range from 50KB to 12MB – the former closely resembling a mess of pixels morphing into an undiscernible image and the latter having too many pixels to offer a wedding website that loads into a browser within a life time. The “perfect” photo is one that has been reduced to perfectly fit the window that frames it in the wedding website. Most photo editing software permits the resizing of photos, but if I had to pick the best, I would definitely go for Photoshop. Again the ever-helpful customized wedding website provider, like weddingorg.com, would use the very best. Wedmedo.com offers up the exact dimensions for every photo used on its Flash wedding websites – for a list of these please visit this link – wedding website photo dimensions.

Lastly and for the beauty conscious definitely not least, photos can be touched up using photo editing software. Looking a bit tired and want to banish those wrinkles from under the eyes? Does your complexion in the photo need a bit of color? Is the color and exposure balance in the photo plain and simply just wrong? Does the red-eye make you look a little menacing? Do your arms look a little too wide at the top? If the answer is “yes” to any of the above questions and indeed to any other observed imperfection, then photo editing software is there to help. We have had loads of touch up requests in our customized wedding website service – and most are doable.

WedMeDo Developments

Wedmedo has undergone a lot of change (for the good) since we last posted on our blog.

We have moved to a very fast dedicated server with unparalleled server monitoring and support to ensure your wedding website is always functioning as it should be. In the very unlikely event that our server goes down, you are in the safest hands possible.

Our wedding websites now feature a wedding blog. This is a fun tool you can use to keep your friends updated on how your wedding planning is going as you approach your wedding and to generate some fun chat about the success of your pre-wedding events.

We have introduced many new wedding website design features which give you even more power to customize your wedding website. If there's a specific customization that you want, ask us and we may even be able to do it for you for free! We have also improved our design studio to make it easier to use and to optimise the speed and way it works. These improvements are "below the bonnet" but immediately evident when you use our Design Studio.

And as we continue to work on our wedding websites, our design studio and new concepts, we assure you there is much, much more on its way.......but we don't want to share what's next just yet. So watch this space.

As always we continue to deliver excellent technical support because we understand and appreciate how important your wedding is to you. We will soon be posting the many testimonials we have received from our clients on our website in case you want to read what what others have to say about us.

Please do contact us if you would like any further details on our wedding website service.
